Peace that stays — the kind that doesn’t vanish when things get hard — isn’t something we conjure up on our own. It’s a gift from God.
He gave you a sound mind — steady, confident, anchored in truth — not because you’re perfect, but because His Spirit lives in you.
A sound mind doesn’t mean you never feel sad, worried, or confused. It means you know where to go when those feelings come. You run to His Word. You remember who He says you are. You don’t let thoughts run wild — you bring them to Him.
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5
When fear whispers you can’t, His truth says I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. When doubt says you’re not enough, He says you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your mind is meant to be a place of rest, not a battleground you fight alone. Let His Word settle there. Let His peace rule there. That is the power He already gave you. 💛
